Cookie Pacifiers

Ingredients

8 ounces vanilla-flavored candy coating, cut up
2 tablespoons shortening
Red or blue food coloring
32 Murray Sugar Free® Shortbread cookies
16 small sugar free gum drops

Directions

1. In small heavy saucepan melt candy coating and shortening over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in desired food coloring.

2. Dip Murray Sugar Free Shortbread cookies, one at a time, in melted candy coating, allowing excess to drip off. Place on piece of wax paper. Let stand at least 15 minutes or until candy-coating sets up.

3. Remove cookies from wax paper. Use warm candy coating mixture to perpendicularly attach one cookie to second cookie for "pacifier handle," Attach gum drop for "pacifier nipple." Repeat with remaining cookie and gum drops. Let stand at least 5 minutes.
