Supplies for Paper Christmas Stocking:

1. First, using your 2 sheets of paper, cut out 2 large stocking shapes. You can either use a pattern or draw the shape in pencil and cut it out. You will need 2 stocking shapes. Make sure you have them each going a different direction so they can be back to back when finished.

2. With both of your paper stockings back to back, take your hole punch and punch holes all around. Punch them a centimeter or two from the edge and space them 1-2 inches apart. Once your holes are all punched, take your 4 feet of yarn and tie a knot to the first hole on one end.

3. Take your yarn and thread it through the entire shape of the stocking, making sure to thread through each punched hole. There are a few ways you can thread your yarn, around and around as I’ve done, or up and down in a basic stitch pattern. When you get to the other end of the stocking, there are a couple of things you can do. You can tie it off there or if you want to have your stocking hang, leave 10-12 inches of yarn on one end and tie it back off at the beginning, making a loop.

4. You can decorate the outside of your paper stocking. I added some of the extra paper from the other side with a fun scallop trim to the top of the stocking. You could add stickers or use crayons to make it special and personalized!

5. Now you’ll want to add in your snacks. Depending on your size of snacks, you can fit 5-6 little packages in each stocking. These are now ready to give someone special!
