Graduating from Pre-School and Kindergarten is a big deal. The first marks becoming an official ‘Big Kid’ and the second recognizes that they’ve survived their first year of school, and they should be on their way to reading and writing. Either way, it’s a great time to celebrate their accomplishments! Whip up these super easy, yet festive graduation snacks for your little ones when they get home from school.
Fudge Stick Diplomas
What You’ll Need for Diplomas:
- Keebler Jumbo Fudge Sticks
- Ribbon, in your school’s colors
Directions for Diplomas:
Cut strips of ribbon. Tie ribbon around each Jumbo Fudge Stick to make them look like diplomas. Arrange on plate or platter and serve.Cheese Roll-Up Diplomas
Diplomas shaped as a yummy cheese roll-up? Yes please!! Your little ones are going to feel special and their bellies will be happy when you serve up these warm and yummy diplomas!
Ingredients for Cheese Roll-Up Diplomas:
- Tortillas
- Shredded cheese
- Ribbon, in your school's colors
Directions for Cheese Roll-Up Diplomas:
- Preheat a skillet.
- Place a tortilla in hot skillet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.
- Once cheese starts to melt, roll the tortilla up. Use a toothpick to hold in place if needed.
- Once cheese is melted, pull out of skillet and let cool.
- Repeat for desired amount of roll-ups.
- Once roll-ups are cool, tie ribbon around each one to create diplomas.
Middle School Kid Graduation Snack: Conversation Rice Krispies Treats™
Middle school can be one of the hardest school years to get through, so this is quite an achievement!! What better way to celebrate than making graduation Conversation Rice Krispies Treats for your kid graduation party!
Ingredients for Conversation Rice Krispies Treats:
- Rice Krispies Treat Bars
- Frosting
- Writable frosting in your school’s colors
Directions for Conversation Rice Krispies Treats:
Frost Rice Krispies Treat Bars. Once the frosting is set, use writeable frosting to draw graduation caps, celebratory phrases, diplomas, and other graduation themes. Arrange on top of plain Rice Krispies Treats and serve.High School Graduation Snack: Graham Graduation Caps
Aside of the graduation gown, parties, and cards (hopefully filled with money), wearing a graduation cap is such an honor and will be remembered forever. The tassel, with your school colors, flopping over the hat and into your face, will probably be promoted to your rear view mirror for a while. There’s just something special about the grad's graduation cap! That’s why I decided to whip some up for you!!
Ingredients for Graham Graduation Caps:
- 8 oz chocolate-flavored candy coating, cut up into small pieces
- 2 Tbsp shortening
- 1 11.5 oz package of Keebler Deluxe Graham
- 1 10 oz package of marshmallows
- 1.68 oz tube of icing, in your school's colors
Directions for Graduation Caps:
- In a small, heavy saucepan, melt candy coating and shortening over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in desired food coloring.
- Using a fork, dip one marshmallow at a time into melted candy coating.
- Use a chopstick or skewer to scrape off the excess melted candy coating from bottom of fork.
- Using the same chopstick or skewer push the coated marshmallow centered on top of a sheet of wax paper.
- Let the marshmallows cool partially. You want it to be sticky enough to adhere to the cookie.
- Place a Keebler Deluxe Graham on top of each marshmallow to create the hat.
- Once the marshmallows cool completely, use your school color tubed icing and decorate the top of each hat with a tassel.
