Easy Appetizer Recipe Idea: Simple Spring Starter

spring appetizer recipe idea

Warmer weather is here, and with the new season I am always looking for some easy spring appetizer recipes for my family. I love to entertain, but like all moms I don’t always have time for complicated dishes. The key to a simple spring recipe is selecting the right ingredients.

Spring Appetizer Recipe: Sun-dried Tomato and Feta Cheese Topping

Townhouse Flatbread Crisps

For this spring appetizer, I recommend starting with a great cracker; I chose Town House Italian Herb Flatbread Crisps. They’re loaded with seasoning and complement the bold flavors in my topper perfectly!

Sun Dried Tomato and basil feta cheese spread

For the spread, I picked up sun-dried tomatoes and basil feta cheese from my grocer's deli. Just before serving, I folded 1/3 cup Italian dressing into the mixture. Then you are ready to serve. It's that simple and delicious! This spring appetizer recipe is sure to be a hit with your family.

Ingredients for Sun-Dried Tomato and Feta Cheese Topping

  • 2 cups feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomato strips, no oil (bagged), finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • Italian dressing (to taste)
  • Town House Flatbread Crisps Italian Herb

Spring Appetizer Recipe Directions

  1. Mix feta cheese, sun-dried tomoato strips and basil.

  2. Then carefully fold in Italian dressing to taste. I used 1/3 cup.

  3. Serve with Town House Flatbread Crisps.
