Corn-Cheese Casserole

Ingredients

18 Sunshine® Krispy® Original crackers
--or--
18 Keebler® Zesta® Original crackers
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk, scalded
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream-style corn
1 teaspoon dry mustard
3 eggs, separated
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 tablespoon melted butter

Directions

1. Crush crackers into fine crumbs. Mix with mustard and salt; set aside.

2. Beat egg yolks well. Gradually stir in scalded milk and hot sauce. Add crumb mixture, cheese, butter and corn. 2. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry and fold into mixture. Pour into shallow 6 cup baking dish. Bake in preheated 325°F for 40 minutes.
