MorningStar Farms® Meal Starters™ Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™ turn this family-pleasing sandwich into a meatless entrée.
Preparation Time: 20 Mins.
Total Time to Serve: 30 Mins.
Servings: 6INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 package MorningStar Farms® Meal Starters® Grillers® Recipe Crumbles™
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
6 hamburger buns
DIRECTIONS
1. In 2-quart saucepan, sautee onions, garlic, and green pepper in oil. Stir in remaining ingredients except buns. Cook over medium heat, until mixture starts to simmer, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 10 minutes. Serve hot on hamburger buns.

Always looking for a good sloppy joe recipe and this is one of the best. Made one small change to improve it. Substituted lean grounf beef for the Morningstar.

@Fred: Great question - you can find Worcestershire sauce in the Condiments section of your local grocery store. It will most likely be placed near the steak, barbeque and hot sauces.

What is “meal starter”, “grillers”, “recipe crumbles”? this recipe looks good but I have never seen this product! I want to try it—I anticipate a winner!! I will rate it then!

Marilyn, The crumbles are by Morningstar. They are found in your grocers freezer aisle in the vegetarian section. This recipe is amazing.. one of my favorites!
